Our 2023 Season Has Come To A Close
Our Growing Season Runs From April - October
When growing is done in the soil, we are forced to ride the waves with Mother Nature. As the seasons come and go, so does our production. In Central Kentucky, our harvest season runs from late April to late October. All of our cover crops are planted in October, we prepare for winter, and the fields are left to rest and rejuvenate for the next season. As inconvenient as it may seem at times, it is the natural order of things and necessary for a healthy, balanced, and regenerative environment.
Just because the growing season ends however, does not mean that we stop our activities on the farm. Join us and follow along as we continue to learn and improve. We do our best to share our experiences with our customers and openly invite conversation to promote transparency and strengthen our agricultural community. If you’re interested in keeping up with the behind the scenes action, possibly learn a thing or two, or even contribute knowledge you may have to share from your experiences follow our blog and sign up for our newsletter. We’d love to have you along!
